The Traditional Cherry Abbey Casket is made black cherry hardwood. Black cherry wood is a rich reddish-brown color and is a strong, hard and close-grained wood. A dark cherry stain is applied giving each casket a rich appearance similar to mahogany.
The Traditional Abbey Casket is fully lined in off-white linen. An inner spring adjustable mattress can be lifted or lowered by the funeral home for a public viewing. A solid wood swing bar handle is secured with Venetian bronze hardware on all four sides for ease of carrying.

Lining: Off-white linen fabric and adjustable, innerspring mattress
End Plaque: Plaque at the foot of each casket reads: May He bring us all together to everlasting life. From the Rule of St. Benedict.
Keepsake cross: Removable wooden cross in lid, approximately 8″ X 12.” Additional keepsake crosses for family members are available for $35 per cross. Options: For an additional fee, all crosses available with:
- Engraving: $30 setup fee
- Gold or Silver Corpus added to cross included with casket: $25 per 8″ x 12″ cross | $15 per 5″ x 7″ cross
Standard shipping and handling are included in the price of the casket shipping within the states in red. Caskets shipping to one of the states in red are delivered by Abbey Caskets or common carrier.
Deliveries to any state shown in grey are subject to a premium charge of $200. Nationwide casket delivery by common carrier is available but may take 5-7 business days for delivery.

Standard shipping and handling is included in the price of cremation urns. Urns can be delivered within 3-4 business days. FedEx Next Day or 2nd Day shipping can be selected during checkout for an additional fee. Orders placed after 1 pm CT will be shipped next business day.
